I grew up in New Orleans and I went to college in Texas. Midway through my freshmen year, I found the one my heart loved. I’m a teacher. My passion is to empower women to engage with Scripture so that they might be transformed by the Word. I also love to train teachers to communicate Scripture effectively – from at-home lessons with their children, to small group Bible Studies, to Sunday School, to presenting from a podium. I’ve spent many years teaching the Bible and I’ve also earned a master’s degree in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. My seminary experience showed me the need to train others with the gift of teaching to consistently develop lessons that transform. I’m a gatherer. One of my favorite pastimes is gathering friends together. I love an opportunity to sit, listen, laugh, chat, and encourage one another.
